[Today's: "My Two Cents"]

1.) Have you ever come across an English-speaker and would love to start a conversation with them, but all you can think of to say is. . . "Hello!" Well, here are some other ways to say "hello!" Please check out the list below to see if you can find a more creative way to say "hello!"
[*Note: I recommend all of the phrases in the list EXCEPT for "Hey, boo. . ."] --> Perhaps this is a fairly new way to say "hello," but I feel it's too casual and some people might take it the wrong way! ;)

2.) How about when you want to let someone know that they are "beautiful!" Perhaps you may not say this often to other people in Asian countries, but it's quite common to compliment others in Western countries. Complimenting is a nice way to greet someone and start a conversation. Why not give it a try?

3.) As another instance, perhaps you would like to encourage your children, colleague, or friend. Below are many ways to let someone know that they are doing a "good job." Please review them and incorporate them in your English speaking if you can. I think it would help make the other person have a better day!

I hope I provided some useful phrases in case you were looking for some alternative ones. It's always good to learn new vocabulary, phrases, American idioms, phrasal verbs, expressions, etc. I wish you all the best in your journey towards perfecting your English!

Please stop by my Profile page if we never met before. I would appreciate it if you can take a look at my lessons list to see if any of my lessons look interesting to you. I try to provide a well-rounded and comprehensive package teaching the English language--including speaking, reading, writing, listening, comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, etc.

I hope you have a wonderful day! Hope to see you soon!

Warmest regards,

Lady Ayame
