Try something new!

How do you feel when you try something for the first time? Excited, exhilarated, enthusiastic? or do you feel nervous, frustrated, awkward.
When I first started Crossfit I felt all of those things. It was so challenging. I enjoyed it but there were so many things I couldn't do. But I kept challenging myself and even competed in a competition. In the competition I still felt nervous, awkward and very self conscious. I thought everyone would laugh at how terrible I was.
But I was SO WRONG!
My team, my coach and the crowd cheered me on and encouraged me so much that I achieved so much more than I thought I ever could.
At the end of the competition I felt excited. I was so very determined and encouraged to keep practising and improving my skills in this sport even though I was (and still am) a beginner at Crossfit.
So, as we get to the end of this week, let me encourage you and be your coach - Don't give up, you are making progress, keep practising and be encouraged you are doing well. If you would like to learn more about me and my teaching style please check out my profile.
