The last few days have been full of celebrations and parties! And when you have a very multi-cultural family there are many things to celebrate :). On Friday night my daughter celebrated Lunar New Year with her family (Gong Xi Fat Cai to my Chinese friends). On Saturday we celebrated my daughter-in--law's birthday Australian style at the beach with fish and chips. Yes it is summer here and hot!. In the evening, we celebrated my friend's birthday with a French-themed party. Yesterday, January 26 was Australia day and it was a very special day for me as my son became an Australian citizen. So, we celebrated with lots of Aussie treats.
Lamingtons, ANZAC biccies, not to mention lamb cutlets, pavlova and lots more.
So, I'm still in the mood to celebrate. Please look at my profile tomorrow for some celebration specials. Meanwhile, have a wonderful day!
