A Day to Remember

2020-01-27

Today, a very tragic incident happened when a helicopter went down in Los Angeles. On the helicopter, there were 9 people, one of whom was a basketball and international icon, Kobe Bryant. He was on the way to coach his daughter's basketball game at the Mamba Academy. Till now, it still seems surreal and it's hard to accept the fact that he has left us. It's not just the basketball world, local communities and the world has lost a great man who has put in so much work and dedication to make the world a better place.

One of his four daughters was also on board. She was a rising star who was very alike her father on the basketball court. Unfortunately, she also lost her life in this tragedy, at the age of 13.

All the people on board will forever be remembered by their loved ones and the people around them.

I started watching Kobe when he first entered the NBA in 1996. As he grows from a young man to an adult, you can see his determination and the dedication to thrive for greatness. He has shown the world that no matter what happens, you can never give up. His mamba mentality has inspired millions of people around the globe and this mentality will live on forever in our hearts.

My deepest condolences go to the Bryant family and those who have lost their lives during this incident.
