Dating someone from a different country

May 23, 2015 | 12 Commento

So anyone who has taken a lesson with me before knows I am an American.

Some of you know that I am living and traveling around Europe and have been for the last 2 years.

Even less of you know that I have a boyfriend from the United Kingdom.

Now that may sound cool (I'm sure a lot of you won't care too), but there are a lot of complications with loving someone from a different country.

Especially when your native countries are on the opposite sides of the world.

Joe (the British boyfriend) and I used to go to his home in the UK a lot together.

In between our travels to/from different European countries and my parent's home in Germany.

However, back in the beginning of February though, I was denied entry into the UK.

I was deported.

Since then, after Joe followed me back to Germany, we have been spending every month in a different country.

We spent about 2 months in Portugal and about a month in Germany.

Next month, Poland.

We tried getting me a visa to the UK, but it's an extremely complicated process.

We aren't totally sure where to go after Poland now.

We want to go to the U.S., but we have to save up more money to get there and to get Joe a visa.

Visas suck. They are expensive, complicated, and insane.

So, what to do from July 1st until we go to the U.S. (probably in October)??

We are now looking at Asia.

Specifically, Thailand.

And we are both crazy excited for our next adventure.
