Expressing Your Feelings in Indonesian

Lisa Budiharjo

Hi, it's me, Lisa again.
How are you feeling today?
In Indonesian, people will ask: "Bagaimana perasaan Anda hari ini?"

meaning:
- Bagaimana = how
- perasaanmu = feeling
- Anda = you
- hari ini = today

How do you answer that question in Indonesian?
Here we are.

This is the basic for beginner who wants to learn Indonesian.
In english, you will say "i am happy". How about in Indonesian?

In Indonesian, the pattern is the same as in English

Saya + Feeling/Emotion

meaning:
- i'm = saya

Example: "Saya senang" or "Saya marah"
if you wanna add "hari ini (today)" or other time information, the pattern is:

Saya + Feeling/Emotion + Time Information
example: "Saya senang hari ini" or "Saya marah hari ini"

easy right?
So, Bagaimana perasaan Anda hari ini?
