Among Britain's most famous authors is Jane Austen, known for her stories of romance, love, and marriage.  Her books were first published in the early 1800s, and have remained in print to this day.  If you've never heard of Austen, you might have seen some of her stories appear on the Hollywood big screen.  Movies have been made from all her novels, the most famous being, "Pride and Prejudice."  A well loved tale, many versions of it have been made including the modern remake, "Bridget Jones's Diary."

If you like the world of Jane Austen, I am offering a class where we will read from her novels together and have discussions in English.  This is an advanced class, but a fun one, which will take you to 19th century England.
