Nature observation in North London parks :)
Aug 9, 2020
It has been a while since I last uploaded something as work has been keeping me busy! In this video, I would love to show you the beautiful parks in North London and one really cool activity that you can enjoy without going too far away!
It might be difficult to travel this year but we can still enjoy nature walk in our local areas. It would be an excellent opportunity to get some fresh air and to explore the different species of insects and plants. You will be amazed by the variety of things you can find! A student has told me that he has been observing "semi," or cicada in English, in Japan. By using this app, you will be able to tell what type of cicada they are ^^
If there happen to be a few of them clinging to a tree near you, why don't use this opportunity to learn more about nature? ^^ You should always release them back into nature after observation.
The sounds of cicada are not common in the UK (or probably in London), what we have are slightly overweight bumblebee and different types of spiders who like to enter my living room unexpectedly. Unfortunately the appearance of insects gives me the creeps so I have used the app for flowers and squirrels instead ^^"
There are numerous opportunites for us to learn about science and biology in our daily lives^^ If you do try the app out, let me know by commenting in my video what you find! I would love to hear about your finds!! ^^
Please subscribe my channel if you would like to know more about science ^^
Thank you and see you next time!
* Just my personal recommendation, I do not have any relationship with the developer of the app *
