Crazy And Funny Facts You Should Know

2020年9月17日

Dear, Readers.

It is a pleasure being with you here, again.

I am hopeful you are all having a memorable week.

The weather has been surprisingly pleasant in southern Thailand.

The animal kingdom is full of intriguing occurrences.

Today, we will take a look at Owls, the big-eyed birds.

Let us go straight into the nitty-gritty of the matter.

Did you know that;

Some owls keep blind snakes in their nests as helpful associates, reducing the abundance of nest parasites.

In 1975, two biologists from Baylor University found that some eastern screech owls endemic to central Texas were sharing their nests with blind snakes—a surprising observation because the snakes should be the owls’ prey.

In fact, aside from a few random insects, Texas blind snakes were the only living prey the biologists had ever seen in the birds’ nests, making this interspecies cohabitation even more remarkable.

This is truly astounding!

I had no idea other animals also kept pets. I have even greater respect for nature after reading about this.

I certainly hope you were impressed by the owls’ behavior.

I am looking forward to the next installment.

Have a wonderful weekend, and take care.

See you soon.
