Crazy And Funny Facts You Should Know

Nov 17, 2020

Dear, Readers.

What a great pleasure it is being on the column again.

I hope I find you well.

It has been cloudy and rainy for the entire week in southern Thailand.

It is the typhoon season in SE Asia. It is soggy and wet most of the time.

Today, I bring you another fun fact about the world.

In this case, I am referring to the world’s population size.

That number is between 7.5 billion and 8 billion people.

But, now, here is the crazy part. Did you know that;

The entire world's population could fit inside Los Angeles.

The world's total population is over 7.5 billion.

Obviously, that number sounds huge

However, it might feel a little more manageable once you learn that if every single one of those people stood shoulder-to-shoulder, they could all fit within the 500 square miles of Los Angeles.

This is according to National Geographic.

I am sure you are all intrigued by this. I am.

Can you imagine a scenario where all humanity occupies one location, and the whole planet is left to its own devices?

I hope you enjoyed reading this little fun fact. You can of course find out more online about this topic.

You can also book a lesson to discuss any of the topics you find interesting in this column.

Have an enjoyable end of the week.

See you.
