Ways of relaxing

During this last year, I have discovered a few ways of relaxing which I added to my list. This is my top 10...

1. Find a comfortable seat in the house and curl up with a good book
3. Listen to my favourite chill-out/ jazz/ instrumental music while I am cooking or having a meal with my family
4. Going to a spa (swimming really relaxes me but unfortunately this year it has been impossible to do this)
5. Knitting (Yes! You read correctly! I love knitting!!!)
6. Playing a few tunes on the piano
7. Watching videos about different cultures on youtube
8. Making something with my hands (I am currently putting something together for the wall in the dining room)
9. Going for a walk along the beach, especially in the winter (I live in a coastal town and this is definitely one of my favourite things to do)
10. Last but not least...summertime on the beach! Playing paddles on the beach, swimming and doing a bit of windsurfing makes me feel extremely relaxed and healthy!

We all need to make time to relax, especially during these stressful times...
