Dear students,

As some of you know, I'm currently entering my last month of pregnancy!

It's a very exciting but busy time for me.

I will be teaching right until I get the baby, since I feel good, but afterwards, I'll be taking a break to spend time with the baby.
So, I think I'll be teaching until the end of the month and maybe the beginning of May, depending on when the baby comes.

Interesting Fact:
Did you know that in Austria all women take AT LEAST one year off?

It is the legal right for all women to get one year off work, and they get paid by the government.

I personally think it would be great if we also had a long paternity leave for fathers.

In Japan, I think the time people take off is much less. I think more people would have children if they could get maternity and paternity leave, what do you think?

What do you think about maternity leave and paternity leave? Should it be mandatory?
