English Kids Games: 20 questions! Let's practice questions, vocabulary, and describing things.

Savannah W

Do you know 20 questions?

It’s a guessing game! The goal is to guess what person A is thinking within 20 questions. First, everyone picks a category. The category can be locations, famous people… fruit, anything you want!

Next, the game starts. One person chooses a vocabulary word. For example, the category is fruit. So, person A chooses “Apple”. Everyone else has to ask questions and get hints to guess the fruit. If you can’t guess within 20 questions, A is the winner! Then, a new person can be “A”. If you guess the fruit, you are the winner! The winner gets to be “A” next.

You can use easy questions like “Is it…?” or “Can I…?” or you can do advanced questions.

This is a good game to practice asking questions or describing vocabulary. Why don’t you try it?
