PHRASAL VERB: to drop off


1) As a transitive verb (with an object)
Meaning = to deliver someone or something
Example:
"Can you drop me off at the station?"


2) As an intransitive verb (with no object)
Meaning = To fall asleep
Example: "I often drop off while watching TV."
