How are you? I hope you're doing well! It's about 31 - 32 degrees Celsius at the maximum in the middle of Canada, where I live. I understand it's unbearably hot, especially in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. As a matter of fact, I think temperatures are going up all over the world due to global warming.
I hope you are finding creative ways to stay cool, but apart from staying inside with the air conditioner, I guess you don't have much choice. I hope it starts to cool down soon!

I've heard her name said all kinds of different ways, but it's mostly mispronounced as, "Ka-MAH-La" (like President Trump says). I found the pronunciation of Tim Waalz. You're right! I watched the video and repeatedly practiced pronouncing kamala :-)That’s helpful to learn the correct pronunciation. Her running mate is Tim Walz, right? They seem like a very good team. The Japanese media refer to Walz as "ワルツ" but I learned this morning that even Americans are confused about how to pronounce the last name of this Minnesota governor of German descent, and it’s the same as "walls" unlike "waltz" in music. Is that true? In the past, the Japanese media wrote Ronald Reagan as リーガン、but later standardized it to レーガン. Pronunciation of people's names is difficult!!We'll see if the Japanese media will continue to refer to him as ワルツor change it to ウォルツ or ワールズ. Thank you for your informative post!
