Practice Makes Perfect

Mr. Trevor Travis

The best way to learn any language is to practice the language itself. This applies to all aspects, reading, writing, and speaking.

To speak well you need to practice constantly, learn new vocabulary, master grammar, and minimize the translation process in your brain. All this is essential to your fluency and articulation.

It all comes down to confidence. A confident speaker will find the words to express themselves quicker and speak freely regardless of whether they believe that they are speaking correctly.

You need a tutor who will listen more than they will speak, and create an environment friendly and comfortable enough for you to try and experiment. Someone who understands that a typical classroom is not the best method to help you master your skill.
