I personnally like to use, in this respect in English like in 
"In this respect, we need to take further action."
In corresponds to the German "in dieser Hinsicht". 
"In dieser Hinsicht müssen wir weitere Maßnahmen ergreifen."
In Japanese we tend to use "この点に関しては".
The grammar around 点 is very similar to the German "Punkt" and "Aspekt". "In diesem Aspekt ist sie sehr gut."
Literally 点 is point, in German we use this as well, but very often we are a bit more specific and prefix is added like in "Gesichtspunkt":
"In diesem Punkt muss ich Dir zustimmen."
"Dieser Gesichtspunkt ist auch sehr wichtig". 
In this case we can exchange "Gesichtspunkt" mit "Aspekt" without losing any information.
In German we have other variations like "In diser Hinsicht, ...".
