How can we understand constructions like "wie erwartet" oder "wie gesagt"? It corresponds to the English "according to" and is used to show that something happens in the way as expected or someone has said before.
"Do it as I said"(言った通り) or "He won as expected"(予想通り).
Auf Deutsch wäre das: "Mach es wie gesagt." und "Wie erwartet hat er gewonnen."
