こんにちは。I'm a Japanese tutor, Nanami.

If you learn origins of Kanji, you will more enjoy learning Japanese and also be able to memorize Kanji easier.


Most of Kanji have a common part if they have similar mearnings.
Please look at below the 4 kanji characters.

(1) 口 (Kuchi) - Mouth
(2) 言う (I woo) - Saying
(3) 語る (Kataru) - Speaking 
(4) 話す (Hanasu) - Talking



(1) 口 is expressing the shape of human mouth like; human is opening his mouth.
(2) 言う (Saying) is one of the activities using our mouth. 言う includes 口 
(3)(4) 語る(Speaking),話す(Talking) are one of the activities related in 言う(Saying). 言う is also included in their left side.
