As you know, learning a language takes time and effort. This is probably why many people learn English by listening to podcasts while they’re doing other tasks such as commuting, cooking, cleaning, etc. Have you ever tried this?

Of course, it helps to find a good podcast. One that I recommend is “6-Minute English” from the BBC Learning English Site. In this podcast the presenters discuss a different topic each episode. It’s for intermediate and above learners.

Each episode is about a different topic. There is a really big variety of topics, they’re all up-to-date, and many of them are very topical.

Full transcripts are available on the website. So if you don’t catch a word, you can check online.
