My Book: The Last Unicorn

One of the books I am reading right now is "The Last Unicorn" by Peter S. Beagle. I want to share it with you because of the book campaign that is coming up! 

This book is a lovely, classic fantasy originally published in the 1960's. It's very descriptive and fantastical. 

I'll share a line from the beginning of the story.

"She had pointed ears and thin legs, with feathers of white hair at the ankles; and the long horn above her eyes shone and shivered with its own seashell light even in the deepest midnight."

I can certainly imagine such a beautiful unicorn's horn, glowing and shimmering softly even in the dark. 

I highly recommend The Last Unicorn (by Peter S. Beagle). It's a fantastic book and full of beautiful phrases, descriptions and scenes.
