When it comes to looking for a good English teacher to teach you English, here’s something that you should keep in your mind,
“Not every English teacher is a good English teacher.”
1. A good English teacher should be one who is patient, one who gives accurate and clear answers, one who speaks clearly, one who doesn’t speak too fast, and one who doesn’t speak with slang words and or curse words.
2. A good English teacher should be one who teaches the correct pronunciation for every word and or phrase that is being taught.
3. A good English teacher should be one who isn’t boring, who doesn’t take up most of their class time talking, and one who gives their students enough time to practice speaking out loud in a conversational way in whatever it is that they have learned.
4. A good English teacher should be one who listens to their students frustrations, needs, and or concerns, as well as to try their very best to help their students as much as they can not only to pass an English test and or exam, but to also help their students with improving their English conversational skills with the correct pronunciation.
5. And… A good English teacher should be one who’s able to properly teach English in a way that of which helps their students to become better at listening to English, to become better at speaking in English, and to become better at communicating with others in English without using their own native language in any way or form.
Note:
If you are learning English from someone who is boring, who isn’t patient, who doesn’t listen to your frustrations, needs and or concerns, and who doesn’t correct you when you make pronunciational mistakes, you should think about finding someone else to teach you English, because if you continue to learn from someone like that, it will cause you to become very frustrated with learning English, as well as to cause you to lose a lot of confidence in yourself when it comes to speaking in English out loud in a conversational way.
For those who’s really serious about improving their English in a conversational way with the correct pronunciation, and who’s really serious about helping themselves to become a better English communicator, feel free to request a class time with me.
