As we start to welcome the arrival of spring, my thoughts are turning to this year's holiday plans. Although I haven't made any firm decisions yet, there's already a strong contender. It's a place that holds a special place in my heart : The Lake District.
Indisputably one of the UK's most famous & beautiful areas, and equally popular with British and overseas tourists, perhaps you also have some special memories about the area, or dream of visiting one day?
I have done cold-water swimming in the breathtaking lakes, hiking, bird-watching (including some rare Ospreys) and eaten some amazing meals (everything from Michelin-starred fine dining to a cuppa & cake in an amazing cafe in Keswick!).
I'm currently designing a new series of lessons which will all be titled 'Let's Talk' and pride of place for my first one shall be The Lake District. Check it out on my profile and I really look forward to chatting to you about this magical place.
