Spring in Japan: A Time for Cherry Blossoms and New Beginnings

James Bream

One of the most beautiful times of year in Japan is cherry blossom season. From late March to early April, parks and riversides turn pink and white with blooming sakura. People gather for hanami (flower viewing), enjoying food, drinks, and time with friends under the trees.

For me, cherry blossom season is a reminder of how quickly time passes—and how important it is to enjoy the moment. It’s also the start of the school and business year in Japan, making it a perfect time to set new goals.

Are you starting something new this spring? Let’s study English together and make it a great season of growth!
