Hi, everyone! I’m Faye, your English tutor, and I’m excited to share a peek at my work space for this week’s topic. Since I bounce between three cities, I have a few desks, but my main one in Tehran is my heart’s home—where I plan fun lessons and chat with you all!
My Tehran desk sits in a quiet little room, tucked behind a window that’s usually closed (the view’s not much!). Instead, I’ve lined up a cheerful crew of dolls, gifts, and souvenirs from friends and family right in front of my laptop. They’re like my energy boosters, reminding me of the love and support behind every lesson I teach. No notebooks or plants here—just my laptop, where I do everything from crafting exam preps to sparking kids’ English adventures, plus a trusty water cup to keep me going.
On the wall nearby, three postcards from my brother, who inspired me to teach English, add a special touch. They’re my daily nudge to keep empowering students like you. Fun fact: I can’t sit still, so I’m always shifting my desk around this cozy room to keep things fresh—it matches my playful, creative vibe!
This week, I’m at my parents’ house, working from a super simple desk in my old room—just me, my laptop, and a chair. But no matter where I am, my space is all about sparking joy and connection. What’s your work space like? Share it in our next lesson—let’s make it a fun English chat!
Happy learning,
Faye
