May Blooms

EnglishKim

Do you like flowers? I’ve been enjoying some flowers in my garden this month. My main photo shows the blossoms of a small tree, Canada plum. Other plants in bloom in my garden in May include a shrub and some perennials.

Hawthorn (shrub)

Prairie smoke (perennial)

Golden alexanders (perennial)

Wild strawberry (perennial)

All of these plants are indigenous to the part of Southern Ontario where I live. I planted them to help support the local ecosystem, and because they are beautiful.

So, these are some of the plants blooming in my garden this month. What’s blooming where you live? Book a lesson with me and we can talk about flowers, hobbies, or whatever you would like to discuss.
