小A：你有聽說七月五號的事嗎？
小B：有啊，聽說有個日本漫畫家在漫畫裡預言那天日本會發生大地震。
小A：為什麼有些外國人特別相信這件事，甚至有人因此取消了去日本的行程。
小B：因為那位漫畫家二十幾年前曾在作品中「巧合地」預言了311東日本大地震，
所以有些人選擇相信她這次的說法。
小A：原來如此。對某些人來說可能覺得太迷信了，但中文有句話說「寧可信其有，
不可信其無」，意思是與其什麼都不準備，不如寧可相信一點、提早做些準備。
小B：對啊，依照每個人的情況，如果選擇相信真的能百分之百避開那場災難，
但如果什麼都不做，真的就是把人生交給命運了。
小A：說得也是。相不相信是個人選擇，我們也應該尊重，畢竟那是他們自己的人生。
而且外國人只是短暫來的遊客，可以彈性調整一下自己的旅遊計畫。

小B：うん、ある日本の漫画家が、その日に日本で大地震が起こるって漫画の中で予言したらしいよ。
小A：なんで一部の外国人、特に香港の人たちはそんなに信じてるんだろう？中には日本旅行をキャンセルした人もいるみたい。
小B：その漫画家は20年以上前に、東日本大震災（3.11）を“偶然”漫画の中で予言していたって言われてるから、今回のことも信じる人がいるんだ。
小A：なるほどね。人によっては迷信だって思うかもしれないけど、中国語に「寧可信其有，不可信其無（あるかもしれないと信じた方が、ないと決めつけるよりいい）」っていうことわざがあるんだよ。
小B：そうだね。人それぞれだけど、信じることで本当に災難を100％避けられるなら意味があるよね。
でも、何もしなかったら、まさに人生を運に任せることになるかも。
小A：確かに。信じるか信じないかは個人の自由だし、私たちも尊重すべきだよ。
それに、外国人は一時的な旅行者だから、旅行の予定を柔軟に変えることもできるしね。

A: Have you heard about what’s supposed to happen on July 5th?
B: Yeah, I heard a Japanese manga artist predicted a major earthquake would happen in Japan on that day.
A: Why do some foreigners especially believe in it? Some even canceled their trips to Japan.
B: That’s because over 20 years ago, that manga artist “coincidentally” predicted the 3.11 Great East Japan Earthquake in one of their comics.
So some people choose to believe what they’re saying this time.
A: I see. Some might think it’s too superstitious, but there’s a Chinese saying,
“Better to believe it exists than to assume it doesn’t.”
It means that rather than doing nothing, it’s better to believe a little and be prepared.
B: Yeah, depending on each person’s situation — if believing helps you completely avoid disaster, it might be worth it.
But if you do nothing, you’re really just leaving everything up to fate.
A: That’s true. Belief is a personal choice, and we should respect that. After all, it’s their own life.
Plus, foreigners are just short-term visitors, so they can flexibly adjust their travel plans.
