June Blooms

EnglishKim

Some of my favourite flowers bloom in June. The blossoms in my main photo are from a Black chokeberry shrub. Other plants blooming in my June garden include a perennial and three more shrubs.

Canada anemone (perennial)

Prickly rose (shrub)

Common ninebark (shrub)

Purple flowering raspberry (shrub)

All of these plants are native to Ontario. I plant native plants to feed the bees, birds, and butterflies, but I also enjoy their beautiful flowers. These are some of the plants that bloomed in my garden in June. What is flowering where you live? Book a lesson with me and we can talk about gardening, animals, or any subject you choose.
