 Sometimes we want to talk about the things we don’t like. We can use sentences like:

 

  • I don’t like …
  • I hate …
  • I can’t stand …
  • It annoys me when …

 

 

Here are some examples with pet peeves (small things that make people angry):

 

  • I hate waiting in long lines.
  • I don’t like it when people chew loudly.
  • I can’t stand being stuck in traffic.
  • It annoys me when someone is late.
  • I hate it when the WiFi stops working.
