Great Questions Make Learning Fun!

Deshni Mellisa

Hello everyone!

I love it when students ask questions in class, it shows curiosity and courage! One question I recently received really touched me:

"Teacher , I want to speak English, but I’m afraid of making mistakes. How can I be brave?"

I thought this was such an important and wonderful question because so many students feel the same way. I told them: “It’s okay to make mistakes—that’s how we learn! Every time you try to speak, you get stronger and braver. Mistakes are like little steps that help you grow.”

We practiced together in a fun way, and by the end of the lesson, the student was smiling and trying new words confidently. Moments like these are why I love teaching—seeing students overcome their fears and enjoy learning English!

If you have questions like this, come ask me in class! We can explore new words, play with English, and have fun while learning. I can’t wait to meet you and help you feel confident and excited about speaking English!

See you soon,
— Teacher Mel
