Asking Great Questions

Did you know that asking good questions is just as important as giving good answers?
Great questions help you learn more, think deeper, and even help your classmates.

What Is a Great Question?
A great question is one that:

  • Shows you are curious.
  • Makes people think in new ways.
  • Is not answered with just “yes” or “no.”
  • Starts a good discussion.

Why Are Great Questions Important?

You learn more – you discover things you didn’t know.
You think deeper – you connect ideas together.
You find your voice – your question matters to the class.
You help others – your question makes classmates think too.

How Can You Ask Great Questions?

Use words like “Why…?”, “What if…?”, “How…?”
Be curious about the lesson.
Don’t be afraid—there are no “silly” questions.
Listen to your classmates and build on their ideas.

Remember

Asking great questions is a superpower. ??
It shows you are not just learning facts—you are thinking, exploring, and growing.
