Writing a quick diary entry can be helpful for learning or practicing a language.

I tend to write mine about special events, since it's a good excuse to practice new vocabulary!

Just like English language learners, I also make mistakes in my vocabulary, grammar, and sentence order. But the point is not to be perfect, but to practice regularly.
