Extra Reading for Standardised Tests like SAT, GMAT and GRE.

Ms Cathy

Candidates taking these important exams are well advised to book lessons with a tutor.  Additionally, there are pleasurable additional activities that you can do at home, which may help you with these tests.

Try reading some 'classic' American or UK literature. For example you could read 'The Great Gatsby' by F.Scott Fitzgerald or 'Emma' by Jane Austen. Sometimes, extracts from well-regarded books are used in the standardised tests.

You may wish to read English books or articles about geography, science or history topics, too. Familiarity with the language used for these topics may help you in the test. As a bonus, if you are lucky, you will find them interesting in their own right, too.

For extra tips and tricks for the exam, book a lesson with a specialist coach like myself!
