just get comfortable having conversations with your tutor.

It is the same with technology and learning languages. If you are unfamiliar with the technology part of online lessons, just get a young person you know to help you. Most people under 30 are very good at helping to fix small technical issues! If your main worry is the actual speaking itself, you should be reassured that certified tutors get lots of training about how to help shy students feel more comfortable.
The reasons for lack of confidence vary by student. Some students are very confident at speaking , but really struggle with the writing, especially spelling. For other students reading or listening is their weak point. A good tip here is to look for fun things you can do outside of class that will help you feel like learning is fun, with the added benefit is making you feel more assured in lessons. Watching movies with subtitles is a good example.
Every long journey begins with the first step. Once you step outside of your comfort zone, you will feel scared but excited at the same time. That is when learning truly begins!
I would like to join you on your journey of discovery with the English language. Book a lesson! You will be very glad that you did!
