Questions You Should Never Be Afraid to Ask Your Tutor

Weekly Topic: Questions you should never be afraid to ask your tutor

Miss Yvonne

Taking lessons on Cafetalk should feel comfortable and supportive. Remember, your tutor is here to help you, not judge you.

Here are a few questions you should always feel free to ask:

  • “Can you explain that again?”

  • “Why do we say it this way?”

  • “Can you correct me more?”

  • “Am I improving?”

  • “Can we focus more on speaking (or grammar, pronunciation, etc.)?”

There are no silly questions in a lesson. Asking questions shows that you care about improving.

Be brave. Speak up. That’s how real progress happens.
