April Fool!

EnglishKim

Some people celebrate April Fools’ Day by pranking their friends and family on the first day of April. In my family we don’t usually play pranks on April Fools’ Day, but we do celebrate the day. We celebrate our very own April Fool, our dog Bentley.

Our silly dog’s birthday is April 1st. I make him a dog-friendly cake which he loves. I mash a banana, add oat flour until it makes a firm dough, then I shape the cake and bake it. When the cake is baked and has cooled, I frost it with peanut butter and decorate it with fruits and vegetables my dog loves: carrots, berries, and cabbage or apple. Bentley loves this cake so much he cries until I give him a slice.
