Historic Moon Mission by NASA

Pros

NASA’s Artemis II mission, launched yesterday April 1st 2026, marks humanity’s first crewed journey toward the Moon in over 50 years since the Apollo era. Carrying four astronauts aboard the Orion spacecraft, the roughly 10-day mission will fly around the Moon (without landing) to test critical systems like life support, navigation, and reentry.

Our fascination with the far side of the moon, has always been a mystery since on Earth we only see one side of our moon. Many songs and other references have been made about the "dark side of the moon".

This historic flight is a key step in NASA’s long-term plan to return humans to the lunar surface and eventually prepare for missions to Mars.
