皆さん、こんにちは。
今日は、イタリア文化をより深く理解し、そして情熱を持つために、ぜひ近づいていただきたいテーマについてお話ししたいと思います。
そのテーマとは、イタリア映画です。
イタリア映画は、その豊かな表現力、優れたコミュニケーション能力、そして鮮やかな色彩によって、
イタリア社会の長所や短所、特徴、そして興味深い側面を非常によく描き出しています。
そしてそれは、より広くイタリア文化全体をも映し出しています。
イタリア映画を通して、私たちは笑い、考え、感動し、喜び、さらには心を揺さぶられることもあります。
つまり、イタリア映画とは、映像を通して表現された「人生」そのものです。
そしてご存じの通り、映像は私たちに夢を見させ、理想や意見、つまり人生を良くも悪くも導くための指針を生み出してくれます。
ここでタイトル「イタリア語はあなたを映画へ連れていく」の意味を説明したいと思います。
これは二重の意味を持つ表現です。
一つは、私というイタリア人が皆さんを映画の世界へと導くという意味。
もう一つは、イタリア語を理解することで、毎年ゴールデンウィークに銀座の有楽町朝日ホールで開催されるイタリア映画祭を通して、イタリア映画が私たちに届ける貴重なメッセージを理解できるようになる、という意味です。

Good morning everyone,
today I would like to talk to you about a topic that I highly recommend you explore in order to better understand and develop a passion for Italian culture.
This topic is Italian cinema, which—with its expressive intensity, communicative power, and vibrant use of color—manages to describe very well the strengths, weaknesses, peculiarities, and points of interest of Italian society, and more broadly, Italian culture as a whole.
Through Italian cinema, it is possible to laugh, reflect, be moved, feel joy, and even become emotionally excited.
In short, Italian cinema is life represented through images, and as we know, images help us to dream, and therefore to create ideals, opinions—in short, points of reference that allow us to guide our lives, for better or for worse.
Now, I would like to explain the meaning of the title “Italian Takes You to the Cinema.”
It is a phrase with a double meaning.
On one hand, it means that I—as an Italian—will take you by the hand and bring you to the cinema.
On the other hand, it means that by understanding the Italian language, we will be able to grasp the valuable message that Italian cinema conveys every year through the Italian Film Festival, which takes place in Tokyo at the prestigious Yurakucho Asahi Hall in Ginza during Golden Week.
