one of the best ways to review after lesson

One of the best ways to review after lesson is relaying on timing. 
after the lesson you want to make notes of the most important point/points you have learned. (ie,. verbs in Arabic are divided into 3 categories based on the way they get conjugated.) 
then 2-3 days later go back and test your understanding of these concepts. and restudy what you failed in recalling. 
The most important rule is always try to have fun and remind yourself that you get to learn a new language and it is not a burdun on you.
