今回は、名古屋から長野まで電車で旅行しました。
I traveled from Nagoya to Nagano by train.
名古屋からは「しなの」という特急電車に乗ります。
From Nagoya, I took the limited express train “Shinano.”
長野までは約2時間半かかります。
It takes about two and a half hours to get to Nagano.
まず、お昼ごはんに有名なそば屋「刀屋」に行きました。
First, I went to a famous soba restaurant called Tōya for lunch.
このお店は、料理の量がとても多いことで知られています。
This restaurant is known for its large portions.
特に天ぷらは、とても大きくてびっくりしました。
The tempura was especially big, and I was surprised.
長野はそばが有名な場所です。
Nagano is famous for soba.
水がきれいなので、おいしいそばが作られると言われています。
It is said that clean water makes the soba delicious.
また、ソーセージやハムもおいしいと人気があります。
Also, sausages and ham are popular and tasty.
次に、長野で一番有名なお寺、善光寺に行きました。
Next, I went to Zenkoji, the most famous temple in Nagano.
このお寺は、約1400年の長い歴史があります。
This temple has a long history of about 1,400 years.
また、特定の宗派に属していないため、だれでも自由にお参りできます。
It does not belong to a specific Buddhist sect, so anyone can visit and pray freely.
お寺の前の通りには、食べ歩きができるお店がたくさんあります。
There are many shops in front of the temple where you can eat while walking.
私はソフトクリームを食べました。
I ate soft serve ice cream.
そのあと、電車で長野駅に戻りました。
After that, I took a train back to Nagano Station.
駅に着いてから、長野の有名な食べ物「おやき」を買いました。
After arriving at the station, I bought a famous local food called oyaki.
おやきは、小麦粉で作った生地の中に、野菜やあんこなどを入れた食べ物です。
Oyaki is a food made of wheat dough filled with vegetables or sweet red bean paste.
帰りの電車の中で食べながら、名古屋に帰りました。
I ate it on the train while going back to Nagoya.
