So here’s a fun little fact: right now, you and I are living in completely different seasons. For real. While you’re enjoying fresh spring weather—maybe cherry blossoms, lighter jackets, that “everything’s growing” energy—I’m sitting here watching the last leaves fall. Autumn has fully arrived on my side of the world. ??
That means no more long outdoor walks for me (it’s officially blanket weather). So instead of fighting the cold, I’ve decided to turn inward—academically speaking—and make reading my main seasonal activity.
So here’s my fun plan for this season:
I’m going to build a “Season Swap Reading Fort.”
What’s that? I pick books that feel like your spring – full of new beginnings, flowers, light adventures, or stories set somewhere warm and hopeful. Then I’ll read them sipping hot tea under a thick blanket, pretending I’m in your sunny season for a few hours at a time.
Meanwhile, you can imagine me as your autumn pen pal, sending you book recommendations from my chilly little corner of the world. ??☕
So yes – I won’t be outside much (too cold for that!). But inside? I’ll be traveling through stories, swapping seasons one page at a time.
Curious what’s on my reading list? Next time, I’ll share my first “spring-in-autumn” book pick. Until then – enjoy your flowers, and I’ll enjoy my fuzzy socks! ??
