Weekend Yoga

Last weekend, I attended a yoga class at the gym. During the session, my body felt lighter and my mind felt clear. It was a good way to slow down after a busy week.



Yoga is helpful for both the body and the mind. Physically, it improves flexibility and balance. It can also reduce body pain, especially in the shoulders and back. Mentally, yoga helps reduce stress and anxiety. Slow breathing and gentle movement can help us relax and concentrate better.


Here are three useful words and expressions you can use when talking about yoga:

  1. Stretch – “I stretch my body during yoga.”
  2. Deep breathing – “Deep breathing helps me relax.”
  3. Hold a pose – “I hold the pose for 30 seconds.”

Yoga does not need to be difficult. Even a short session can make a difference.
