Get Ready
One of the best ways to get ready for an online lesson is to expose yourself to the language in a natural (and fun) way on the day of the lesson or the night before - especially before sleeping. If you read or listen to something you enjoy in your target language (even for five minutes), you will be more receptive at the time of your lesson. If you do this the night before class, you may even dream in your target language.
Get Set
Setting up a comfortable, quiet, place for your lesson is key. If you set up your work station in a comfortable place with plenty of light and even a notebook and pen (in case you wish to take notes), you will enhance your experience. Be sure, also, that you have a good internet connection. You might also wish to prepare a nice cup of coffee or tea to enhance the learning experience.
Go!
After you have exposed yourself to the language and prepared your work space, you'll be ready for your class. When you go to your class, expect the best. Keep a positive attitude and don't be afraid to ask questions. Teachers are there to help. Most of all, enjoy your class and the pleasure of learning.
