This is the motivational quote: "You are not late, you are on your own route". This story can be applied in all aspects of life, including learning a new language.

It was an early morning at the train station. There were a few people waiting for their trains. One train arrived at 6:30, another one at 7:10 and another one at 8:45. Some of the trains were fast, others stopped at many places, others had long routes with many stops and others made many stops. Some of them even came from far away cities. But no one looked at the train that was scheduled to depart at 8:45 and said, "How embarrasing, why didn't you arrive at 6:30". Because everyone knows that each train has its route, its own distance and stops and its own timing.
With humans we often tend to forget this simple concept. We look at someone getting married, buying a house, building a business or becoming successful and we sometimes feel behind. But we must remember that we are not traveling on their route. We did not start from the same station and did not carry their luggage. We didn't get their signals, tracks, delays, support and storms. So then, why are we using their arrival time to measure our lives?

Maybe you are not late, maybe your route is just longer because you have a different destination or maybe your stop taught you things that speed just couldn't teach you. So even if you go slow, even if you have stopped for a while or no one is waiting at the platform yet, you are not late, you are on your own route.
