渋谷で夏休みに楽しみたいこと！ Things to Enjoy in Shibuya This Summer！

皆(みな)さん、こんにちは！

日本語教師(にほんごきょうし)のKumikittyです。

私(わたし)が住(す)んでいる渋谷(しぶや)は、今(いま)、びっくりするほど暑(あつ)いです（笑）。

36℃(さんじゅうろくど)とか37℃(さんじゅうななど)の高(たか)い気温(きおん)を連発(れんぱつ)！

そして、湿度(しつど)もとっても高(たか)いので、体感温度(たいかんおんど)はもっと高(たか)いかもしれません。

だけど、外国(がいこく)からの観光客(かんこうきゃく)の方(かた)が本当(ほんとう)に多(おお)くて、水着(みずぎ)みたいなファッションで観光(かんこう)を楽(たの)しんでいらっしゃるみたいです。( ◠‿◠ )

暑(あつ)いには暑(あつ)いんですが、商業(しょうぎょう)ビルがたくさんあるので、暑(あつ)くなったらすぐにデパートに入(はい)って涼(すず)むとか、そんなことができるので、意外(いがい)に過(す)ごしやすいんじゃないかとも思(おも)います。

渋谷(しぶや)に住(す)み始(はじ)めて13年(じゅうさんねん)の私(わたし)も、暑(あつ)くてしんどくなったらスクランブルスクエアなどのカフェに入(はい)る、本屋(ほんや)で立(た)ち読(よ)みをする、流行(はや)りの洋服(ようふく)をチェックする、デパ地下(ちか)でお惣菜(そうざい)を見(み)る、などして結構(けっこう)快適(かいてき)に過(す)ごしていますから、渋谷(しぶや)に旅行(りょこう)に来(く)る外国人(がいこくじん)の皆(みな)さんも、ぜひ参考(さんこう)にしてみてくださいね！

私(わたし)のこの夏(なつ)の予定(よてい)ですが、来月(らいげつ)の神宮(じんぐう)の花火大会(はなびたいかい)に行(い)きたいと思(おも)っています。

神宮球場(じんぐうきゅうじょう)のチケットを購入(こうにゅう)したので、行(い)くのがめちゃ楽(たの)しみ！

Hello everyone!

I’m Kumikitty, your Japanese teacher.

The area where I live, Shibuya, is unbelievably hot right now! ??

The temperature has been reaching 36°C and even 37°C day after day!

On top of that, the humidity is extremely high, so it actually feels even hotter than the temperature suggests.

Even so, there are so many tourists visiting from overseas. Some of them even seem to be sightseeing in outfits that look almost like swimwear! (◠‿◠)

Yes, it’s definitely hot, but Shibuya is full of shopping malls and commercial buildings. Whenever you get too warm, you can simply step into a department store or shopping center to cool off. Because of that, I actually think it’s a surprisingly comfortable place to spend time, even in the summer.

I’ve been living in Shibuya for 13 years, and whenever the heat gets to me, I usually relax at a café in Shibuya Scramble Square, browse books at a bookstore, check out the latest fashion trends, or look around the food section in a department store. These little breaks make summer in Shibuya much more enjoyable. So, if you’re planning to visit Shibuya, I hope you’ll give these ideas a try!

As for my plans this summer, I’d really like to go to the Jingu Fireworks Festival next month.

I already bought tickets for Jingu Stadium, so I’m really looking forward to it!
