Summer Vacation: Are you a "Planner" or a "Go-with-the-Flow" Type?

Kay M

Hello everyone! ☀️

Summer is finally here, and I’ve been thinking a lot about vacations. When I ask my students, "What are your summer plans?", I usually get two very different answers. Some students are Planners. They have a detailed itinerary, a packing list, and restaurant reservations booked three months in advance! Other students are Go-with-the-Flow types.
They just pack a bag, pick a direction, and see where the adventure takes them. So, which one are you?

In my lessons, I love to use "summer vacation" as a fun topic to practice real-life English. We can role-play ordering ice cream at the beach, practice giving directions to a tourist attraction, or debate whether it's better to relax at home or go sightseeing in the blazing heat! If you could go anywhere in the world for just one week this summer, where would it be?

Tell me in our lesson, and let's practice some great travel vocabulary together! I’m looking forward to hearing your summer stories (or your summer daydreams)! See you in class,
