Before December Says “Time’s Up” ⏰

Weekly Topic: Things I want to learn before the end of the year

PreciousTeaches

There are only a few months left in the year, and somehow, December always arrives faster than I expect. So I asked myself:

“What do I really want to learn before the year ends?”

Not ten things. Not a long list I’ll forget by next week. Just a few things that would genuinely make my life better.

First, I want to become better at using technology creatively. There are so many tools out there, and I don't want to just know they exist. I want to learn how to use them to create, teach, and work smarter.

I also want to improve my communication skills. As an English teacher, I spend a lot of time helping people express themselves clearly, but learning never really stops. I want to become an even better listener, storyteller, and communicator.

And finally, I want to learn something completely unrelated to work—just because it interests me. I haven't decided what that will be yet. Maybe that's part of the fun. ??

I think learning is more exciting when it isn't always about certificates or ticking boxes.

Sometimes, it's simply about being able to say:

“I didn't know how to do this before. Now I do.”

So, before December says “Time’s up!”, I'm choosing curiosity over perfection.

What’s one thing you want to learn before the year ends?
