What's on Your Learning List Before 2026 Ends?

Weekly Topic: Things I want to learn before the end of the year

As we move through the second hald of the year, it's natural to feel quiet pressure of ticking off remaining goals. We often ask ourselves:"What else can I accomplish? What else should I master before the year ends?"

For me, the answer to that question looks a little different this season.

Whiile I am constantly exploring new subjects and refining my teaching craft, mybiggest focus right now is learning how to bridge understanding between different minds. I'm currently preparing to launch my new book; a project designed to help both neurotypical and neurodivergent individuals understand, validate, and navigate their feelings. Writing this has been a powerful reminder of how unique our emotional landscapes are, and how much we all need compassionate tools to express what's going on inside.

That journey brought me to the most important thing I want to learn, and master, before the end of the year: the art of slowing down.

In a world that constantly glorifies hustle, we often forget that rest is a crucial part of growth. Mental health and personal well-being shouldn't take a back seat to our ambitions. Before burnout creeps in, it is vital to check in with ourselves, honour our boundaries, and give ourselves permission to take it easy. Learning to pause isn't a distraction from progress, it's what makes sustainable growth possible.

So, as we navigate the remaining months of the year together, I'd love to know:
What is one thing, whether it's a new skill, a creative outlet, or a mindful habit; that you want to learn or focus on before the year ends?

Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below! If your goal involves language practice, learning a new perspective, or simply having a supportive space to converse and slow down, I'm always here to help you on your journey. Let's make time for what truly matters.
