Chasing Golden Leaves: Why the U.S. in Autumn Is on My Bucket List

每週主題: A place I’d love to visit this autumn

Zellee

Hello, Cafetalk friends!

There’s something about autumn that makes me want to travel.

Maybe it’s the cooler weather, the changing leaves, or simply the cozy feeling of the season. I’ve never visited the United States, but experiencing an American autumn is definitely on my bucket list.

I’ve seen pictures and movies of New England in the fall, with beautiful trees covered in shades of red, orange, and gold. I would love to experience that scenery for myself one day.

One of the things I’d really like to try is leaf peeping — travelling to places where you can enjoy the autumn colours. I can imagine taking a road trip through the countryside, stopping at small towns along the way, and taking far too many photos!

And then there are the little things I associate with autumn in America: visiting a local apple orchard, drinking warm apple cider, seeing pumpkins outside people's homes, and enjoying a quiet walk on a crisp autumn morning.

It sounds simple, but perhaps that’s what makes it so appealing to me. I don't need an exciting adventure every day. Sometimes, enjoying beautiful scenery and experiencing everyday life in another country is enough.

What about you?

Is there a country, city, or special place you’ve never visited but would love to see someday?

Maybe it’s somewhere famous, or perhaps it’s a quiet little town that simply looks beautiful in photographs.

Tell me about your dream destination in the comments, or tell me about it in one of our lessons. I’d love to hear about it!

Until next time, enjoy the changing season wherever you are.

Warm autumn wishes!
