Success for me is achieving my goals.

Weekly Topic: What “success” means to me

Thirzah

Success for me is achieving my goals, even the small ones.

It doesn't matter what your goals are, but it does matter how you set them, monitor them and reward yourself for meeting them.  Even small goals can build up to become something worthwhile.

An American self-help author, Robert Collier, said, “Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.”

This statement is all about being consistent and forming good habits. Experts like Collier advise that instead of waiting for a single, massive moment of luck or an overnight breakthrough, true success is built over time. Through our normal activities and daily routines.

I believe that whether you are trying to learn a new language, build a business, improve your fitness, or master a skill, small and sustainable actions are always more effective than intense, sporadic bursts of effort.

For this reason, I have shared a video to help you with your goal setting and thus help you to become more successful.
